Spare Change

What becomes of the beggar on the street?
Is he begging or is he selling?

Can some spare change save his life

Or, will change for him spare mine?

And what's with his sign?

No gimmick- he just wears it with a grin

Not bad, I guess, for a man

Who thinks the world is gonna end

It's his saving grace-

And it's my truth that I'm not ready to face
